Distracted by Simplicity

I know I took a photo of fabric, notions and sparkly bits and all that, and said it was my next project - well not so much...

Apparently I don't have enough time to labour over complicated and tricky designs as my daughter has put in an order for three costumes before I head out to see her on the 21st of this month.  Eek!

So simple it has to be...

I can't show you the finally fitted result until I get to Sharm and fit it on her but this should give you an idea...

I call it Leopard Print Crusader - celebrating Canterbury colours, our national sport (Rugby), and hopefully assuaging my daughter's homesickness for good old NZ, in one fell swoop.
